Mag Italia is an importer, distributor, and retailer of Italian fast-moving consumer goods - food products, beverages, detergents, and cosmetics from prestigious brands. The company operates both retail, through its physical store in Sofia, and wholesale, serving a large number of B2B clients - restaurants, hotels, and stores.
With the aim of modernizing and digitizing their B2B trade, Mag Italia was looking for a solution to automate sales processes and optimize operations with its wholesale clients - business customers, sales representatives, and distributors. The company needed a stable and efficient online platform that met the following key requirements:

  • Automation of B2B processes - digitalization of business operations and facilitating customer orders.
  • Integration with ERP system - synchronization of inventory and dynamic pricing.
  • Price control - public product catalog with price restrictions for registered users only.
  • Stability and scalability - a reliable platform capable of handling high traffic and supporting future growth.

The Stenik team developed a B2B platform based on Magento, implementing the following functionalities:

  • Modern and intuitive interface based on the Stenik Cypho B2B Theme, adapted to the needs of Mag Italia and the B2B segment.
  • Custom main navigation - top navigation, mega menu, and enhanced breadcrumbs, providing easier user navigation on the site.
  • Advanced search based on Elastic Search for quick and accurate item lookup.
  • Advanced filters with multi-select capabilities.
  • Public product catalog and hiding prices for non-registered users.
  • Listing of all available brands, sorted alphabetically, and a detailed page for each brand, leading to the product category of the respective brand.
  • Option to submit a request for customer profile registration.
  • Individual pricing conditions applied to registered clients and logged-in users (legal entities).
  • Ability to transfer a B2B client to a specific sales group.
  • Restrictions on payment methods based on the customer group - for loyal clients and large orders.
  • Specific logic for selling products only in boxes.
  • Price visualization per unit and per box on the product detail page.
  • Support for multiple customer profiles with different order rights.
  • Order history, multiple delivery addresses, and the option to reorder (Re-order).
  • Option for quick ordering by product code through uploading an item list.
  • AJAX cart update and dynamic notification for free shipping.
  • Ability to add labels (tags) to products – organic, chilled, frozen food, etc.
  • Deferred payment method available only for certain customer groups.
  • Integration with vPOS UBB (Borica) for secure online payments.
  • Delivery options: Click & Collect (pick-up from warehouse) and delivery by the retailer’s transport.
  • Lists of preferred products (wishlist) and order templates (requisition lists) for quick addition of frequently purchased items.
  • Management of newsletter subscriptions.
  • GDPR compliance and ability to manage cookie consents.
