Mömax is among the leaders in the sale of furniture and home accessories, and is currently represented in 7 countries in Europe - Bulgaria, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Romania. There are 5 Mömax physical stores in Bulgaria, two of them in Sofia and one each in Stara Zagora, Burgas and Varna.
The company follows a service concept that focuses entirely on the customer, which is also leading in the decision made by the furniture giant to strengthen its online presence. Due to the growing number of users online, Mömax turned to Steniks team. What the company set as a task for our team was to build a stable and intuitive online store that would present the wide range of products offered as well as to ensure convenient online shopping.
For this purpose, we based the online store on the current version of the Magento platform - Magento 2, which in turn allowed us to implement all the key features that ensure successful and secure online orders.
Among the main functionalities in the development of the online store are:
- Of particular importance is the smart search engine in the new online store of möemax, which visualizes suggestions after typing only part of a word. The search engine shows not only products but also opportunities for categories. Even during the search, users can see a drop-down list of visualized offers with prices for the searched item;
- The wide range offered is divided into convenient product categories , entirely according to the nature and type of goods;
- The listing pages of the products of each category are accompanied by a wide range of filters in the left navigation part;
- We have implemented the options for payment via ePay, Easy Pay, bank transfer and cash on delivery.
We implemented the project for an optimal period of time, and the first successful orders were not late and are already a fact.
