In 2020, we created the online store for sunglasses and optical frames Sky Optic, based on Magento. This year, we successfully migrated the standard Magento theme of their online store to a new storefront - Hyvä.
Our main objectives were:
- Improving the site speed.
- Enhancing the user experience with a more pleasant, intuitive, and easy-to-navigate site.
- Reducing the bounce rate.
- Increasing sales through an optimized mobile version.
The results after the migration to Hyvä came quickly, and immediately after the launch, we can share that:
- The loading speed on mobile devices improved by up to 67%, and on desktop by up to 50%.
- Post-migration, the pages load twice as fast compared to the previous version of the store.
- The overall PageSpeed Insights score for the mobile version increased by up to 60%, and for desktop by up to 45%.
These technical improvements not only boosted speed but also provided a better user experience and a higher conversion rate.
