She has been with the company for 10 years and during this period has transitioned through various roles to become one of our most experienced professionals in client communication. In her video introduction, Lara reveals more about her daily responsibilities, skills, and her significant role in communicating with online merchants.

>> Hello, Lara. Tell us more about your position?

My job is related to Stenik's clients who already have an established online store with us and need constant enhancement of its functionalities. I take care of reviewing and structuring our clients' requests and shaping them into offers.

>> How does your position contribute to Stenik's mission?

My task is to be able to put myself in our clients' shoes, understand their needs, and translate the technical language of the functionality we offer into something accessible for them, so that the client is aware of the end result of their investment.

>> What motivates you in your work?

Working with our clients in the long term, they become increasingly demanding and value excellent service from our side. My responsibility is to maintain a high level of communication and feedback. Satisfaction comes when I see their desires realized, accessible to all users - friends and acquaintances who shop daily from the online stores we develop. I am motivated by our satisfied clients and end-users.

>> How does your typical workday unfold?

I divide my workday into two parts: in the first part, I mainly communicate with colleagues and clients regarding tasks at hand, and in the second part, I focus on those tasks for which I have collected the necessary information beforehand.

>> What kind of team do you work with?

My work is closely related to that of my colleagues, project managers, with whom we jointly prepare our proposal to the client. For more extensive and complex offers, we coordinate with our manager and commercial director. Directly working with them provides me with a lot of additional knowledge due to their rich experience, and this teaches me to become more independent over time.

>> What knowledge is needed for an Account Manager at the beginning of their development at Stenik?

Anyone who wishes to work in my position needs to have basic knowledge in the field of online commerce and digital marketing, project management, technical implementation, and the use of eCommerce systems in developing an online store. They need to understand the process of building an online store so they can explain it to the client in an accessible language.
If the candidate lacks the necessary knowledge, Stenik provides eCommerce training in which they can go through the mentioned areas.
The successful candidate should, of course, have business communication skills and experience in offering, pricing, and invoicing.

>> What skills have you acquired in the company?

Stenik has given me a lot. Starting from meetings with successful business clients, from whom there's always something interesting to learn, going through work with various systems and programs, and reaching to purely accounting and legal details that sharpen the mind. I believe the company and the team have provided me with a rich overall culture in the business environment.

>> Advice for anyone starting in this position now.

In our work, it's crucial for a person to be flexible and quickly adapt to the changes in the dynamic environment we work in. On the other hand, Stenik also rewards me with great flexibility in my work, allowing me to balance personal life and career excellently.
