In the beginning of the year, we were invited by our partners at eCommerce Academy to participate in the video series "Professions in E-commerce," which aims to showcase different professions within companies operating in the online trading sphere.
With pleasure, we accepted the invitation to participate and share firsthand insights about the interesting positions of six accomplished professionals at Stenik. They talk about the specifics of their roles and the roles they play in building successful online stores, as well as how they contribute to helping online merchants remain competitive in the digital economy. We hope their stories will inspire many young students to pursue this path or professionals from other fields who wish to change the direction of their career.
Participants from Stenik in the eCommerce Professions series:
- Lyuboslav Aristotelov - Project Manager
- Lara Milina - Account Manager
- Ivelina Yordanova - UX/UI Designer
- Todor Minev - eCommerce Support Team Lead
- Stefan Minchev - Back-end Programmer
- Dimitar Troyanov - Front-end Programmer
If you're interested in learning more about their professions, what inspires them each day, how they've developed their careers, and their roles in the digital industry, we recommend reading their insightful interviews or watching their video profiles.

>> Hello, Lyubo. Tell us more about your position.
As a Project Manager, my work involves consulting clients on their eCommerce development. I synchronize the work of the Stenik team with that of the client during the development of new stores. Since finding the right solution for each case is a process that requires familiarity with the platform we use, I work actively with it as well.
>> How does your position contribute to Stenik's mission?
In Stenik, my position is responsible for analyzing the business processes of online merchants and adapting them to the solutions we provide.
>> What motivates you in your work?
Bulgarian traders aim to develop and increasingly align themselves with global trends. At Stenik, we help them raise the bar to achieve new and higher goals, always seeking the right solution for their business. I am motivated by the fact that we create solutions that make traders more successful.
>> How does your workday unfold?
The day is dynamic, starting with clear planning of daily tasks, followed by reviewing email communications with clients. Part of the daily tasks include: assigning tasks and directions to colleagues, internal discussions about issues or with clients, finding solutions, and communicating with clients about ongoing and upcoming tasks. At the end of each workday, I participate in a meeting with the Project Manager team, where we discuss project statuses, plan new tasks, create schedules, and support each other in resolving specific questions and challenges that arise in each team member's work.
>> What kind of team do you work with?
I work with the entire Stenik team. I mainly coordinate the work of designers, programmers, and testers. Of course, apart from the team members themselves, I also reach out for advice or consultation from our leaders. There's always something they can help with or provide guidance on for a specific project, task, or issue that needs resolution.
>> What knowledge is needed for someone in your position when starting out?
When starting out as a Project Manager at Stenik, it's important to have basic technical knowledge of online business, familiarity with marketing tools, good communication skills, and above all, a strong desire for development. Even if you don't have all the necessary knowledge at the beginning, being part of the Stenik team will allow you to quickly acquire it through training and practical experience.
>> What skills have you gained during your time at the company?
In my 7 years at Stenik, I can confidently say that I learn something new every day. It's difficult to list all the skills I've acquired during my time here, as they are numerous. Some of them include communication skills, technical knowledge, innovation, adaptability, time management, and many others.
>> Advice for anyone starting in this position now.
My advice to anyone entering the field of Project Management is to always be open to new tasks, as they bring new knowledge and greater goals. When you encounter a problem, seek a solution; if you can't find one on your own, seek advice, because there's always a solution out there.
