Review of the jubilee year 2024

2024 is the year for us at Stenik when we celebrated two decades since the company's founding. 20 years filled with dynamics, technological progress, unwavering commitment, and contributions to the eCommerce ecosystem in Bulgaria, to our clients, and end users. Or as we like to say - "an endless game" in which we play as a team, responsibly, and with a constant strive for improvement to raise the bar.

During this period, we built a cohesive team, implemented dozens of successful projects, and faced numerous technological and business challenges. We managed to build long-term relationships with our clients and partners. The experience we have gained places us in a more mature and stable position, providing us with the foundation to maintain and develop the high quality of the services we offer.

One of the most valuable rewards for our work and dedication up to this point is:

90% Client Satisfaction: A Result of Commitment and Personalized Approach

In August, we conducted a survey among our clients and received a 90% overall satisfaction with our work. This rating is the result of our personalized approach to each client and project, personal project management, high-quality support we provide, and our proactivity in various aspects of our collaboration.

Every year, we organize strategic meetings where, together with our clients, we analyze the results of the past year, plan goals and strategies, and discuss technical developments, automations, and process optimizations. All of this allows us to offer solutions that are not only adapted to the current needs of each business but also contribute to its sustainable development and progress.

To maintain this high level of service, we continuously optimize our internal processes and pay special attention to the synergy between our support and project management departments, which is crucial for the successful execution of projects. Every day, we provide SLA support (Service Level Agreement) for over 70+ online stores, which is not only a great responsibility but also valuable experience for our team. Our main goal is for the companies that have trusted us to feel secure from a software perspective and focus entirely on increasing sales and growing their business.
This year, thanks to the collaborative work, professionalism, and commitment of the entire team, we managed to achieve:

New Record for Number of Completed Projects

In the last 11 months, our team successfully completed 22 projects for new and long-term clients, covering various business sectors. Thus, we set a new record for the number of completed projects in our portfolio in a calendar year.

In the dynamic "marathon" of the digital economy, we started to "run" alongside leading brands who trusted us to create their eCommerce solutions and became part of our family – Bebolino.bg, Mattro.net, Napapijri.bg, Ted.bg, Prohairshop.bg, Homefinishing.bg, and others.

This success is also due to the technological solutions we implement in our projects - our design theme - Cypho, Hyvä Storefront, and the mobile applications we developed. We will talk more about all of these in the following sections.
As we mentioned, our achievements are not only the result of the professionalism and expertise of our team but also the right technological solutions we work with and are certified for.

In 2023, we laid the foundations for new technological solutions, and in 2024, we continued to build and develop them.

Hyvä Silver Partnership

In 2024, thanks to successful high-performance projects and our commitment to creating online stores based on Hyvä technology and the Magento platform, Stenik became the first and only Silver Partner of Hyvä in Bulgaria.
This achievement is not only a great recognition for us but also a significant advantage for our clients. Over the past year, our portfolio of projects built with Hyvä expanded with 4 successful implementations focusing on loading speed and better UX: Douglas.bg, Mattro.net, Skyoptik.bg, Ted.bg, and
Homefinishing.bg.

B2B & B2C Projects Based on Cypho Storefront

Cypho Storefront is a design theme created by Stenik, which successfully meets the needs of modern eCommerce projects, including those in the B2B segment. It is suitable for companies working with business clients (contractors) who need effective management of complex processes, such as managing large order volumes, personalized offers, and access at different levels for partners.
Based on our years of experience and analysis of current trends, Cypho Storefront has become the preferred solution for both B2C and B2B segments, ensuring an optimal balance between development time, budget, and quality.

We can highlight Cypho as the most popular solution in recent months, and we expect this trend to continue gaining momentum in 2025.

Expanding the Portfolio with Custom B2B Projects

We have developed custom B2B platforms for our clients, integrating useful features and advanced capabilities for inventory management, pricing, corporate accounts, ERP integrations, and other key characteristics that optimize business processes, service, and facilitate sales.

In 2024, we successfully added value to the digitalization and optimization of our clients' operations and expanded our portfolio with 6 new full-fledged B2B platforms: Bebolino, Sid-shop, Uwear, Lancom, Raya Toys, and Felyx Toys.

Custom B2C Stores

Although fewer in number compared to our other solutions, we have also successfully implemented custom B2C stores, as well as those based on Luma Storefront. This has helped our clients digitize their businesses by providing e-stores that meet their specific needs and the preferences of their users.

Mobile Shopping Apps

Our approach to developing mobile apps involves integration with the merchant's existing ecosystem, which significantly reduces implementation time and costs, speeding up the return on investment. Among the mobile shopping apps that are already successfully functioning are those of Douglas Perfumery Bulgaria, Technomix, and Teodor. The apps are available for download in both the App Store for iOS and Google Play Store for Android devices.

Added Value for Online Merchants

Good solutions and craftsmanship go hand in hand with valuable tips and techniques in eCommerce. Throughout the year, we shared several blog articles to help merchants optimize their online stores. In them, we share best practices and features that can help increase Average Order Value (AOV), Conversion Rate, and Purchase Frequency.

We Launched Stenik Series: Shorts

After two seasons of Stenik:Series, which featured longer training videos, in September we launched Stenik:Series Shorts. This format allows us to highlight the most valuable ideas and tips we've shared at various events on eCommerce and digital marketing, presenting them to a broader audience. Through short and helpful videos (reels), we will continue sharing valuable eCommerce tips for online merchants based on our 20 years of experience throughout 2025.

Magento Integrations and Synchronizations with Payment and Courier Solutions

We have laid the foundation for new partnerships that expand the possibilities and benefits for our clients and their online businesses in the area of payment options and deliveries. Our partnerships with companies like DSK and TBI provide the online merchants we work with access to various payment solutions, helping them meet the growing needs of end consumers. Our cooperation with Takeaway, Sameday, and BoxNow enriched the delivery options in our clients' stores. We successfully integrated Sameday’s courier system with Magento, allowing for deliveries to lockers - Easybox. Synchronization with Takeaway enabled delivery within two hours. We Increased the Number of Women in the Team

At Stenik, we create a balanced and equal working environment that actively supports and encourages the professional development of each team member. For the first time in the company’s history, the female team members are in such a significant number. The fresh energy, professionalism, and creativity of our female colleagues influence the development and success of various departments at Stenik - account management, sales, support, marketing, design, and others.

We Participated in eCommerce Events and Media, Sharing Our Know-How

We actively share our know-how and knowledge with the eCommerce community by participating in various industry events, conferences, and other experience-sharing events. Despite our daily commitments, we make an effort to participate as speakers and contributors, sharing best practices and experiences with partners and businesses interested in the solutions we offer. We are always open to fruitful networking with the different audiences at the events we are part of.

The year passed with media presence for Stenik as well. We participated in "Focus" radio and appeared in the pages of the "Manager" magazine, where we shared more about the endless game: 20 years of world-class software solutions and know-how for Bulgarian online merchants.

Three Award-Winning Projects at the eCommerce Awards 2024

This year, the efforts of our team and our clients were recognized at the eCommerce Awards 2024 competition, where we won three prestigious awards. Our clients - Matraxi TED, Uwear, and SkyOptic were among the winners. We shared more about the competition and the star winners in our blog.

Education and Social Responsibility

We contributed to the education and development of young talents in the technology and eCommerce fields through knowledge-sharing, motivating presentations, and practical trainings aimed at students of various ages. Our goal was to inspire, enrich, and prepare them for the challenges of the future and their career development.

Throughout the year, we held presentations on online stores and computer literacy for students from 1st and 4th grade at 2nd Secondary School “Acad. Emiliyan Stanev”. We also organized an inspiring meeting with students from 9th and 10th grades at SoftUni BUDITEL High School. We mentored students from SoftUni BUDITEL High School and, as mentors and judges, participated in the tenth anniversary edition of Hack TUES X, supporting young programmers in creating interesting projects. We were part of TUES Fest 2024 and the “Meet the Future” initiative of the eCommerce Academy, where we shared our knowledge of eCommerce with students from NBTG with a focus on eCommerce. Social Responsibility - Caps for the Future

This year, the Stenik team once again participated in the "Caps for the Future" campaign. We thank all our colleagues who showed initiative and actively joined the campaign. Every contribution matters, and it shows that small actions can lead to big changes. At Stenik, we are committed to causes that bring positive change to society, and we will continue participating in such social initiatives.

Fun and Team Building Through Various Initiatives

This year, we organized team-building activities that not only enriched our team culture but also strengthened our collective spirit. All of them encouraged team communication, fostered creativity, and boosted motivation for all team members. Among them were escape room adventures and more adrenaline-filled activities such as rafting and canoe kayaking, as well as more relaxing activities with a motivating effect.
Just like in rafting, in everyday work, we know that success depends on the efforts of the entire team. Only when we all work (paddle) together in sync or coordinate with each other can we overcome challenges and achieve the desired results and progress. The leader (the one steering the boat) may set the direction, but without the support and adequacy of all participants, there will be no success.

We have confirmed that communication and trust are key both in the water and at work. Therefore, we strive to create an atmosphere of mutual assistance in which every team member feels valued and motivated. Fun and energy are important for maintaining high motivation and becoming more successful.
Our team-building activities provided valuable moments for sharing and mutual inspiration, which strengthened our mutual trust and collegiality. The unity and motivation we were able to build will help us face new challenges in the upcoming year. With joint efforts and energy, we will continue to work together to achieve even greater successes and build on what we have accomplished.

Looking ahead to 2025
