The interface of successful online stores with Stefan Chorbanov and BDG/Bulgarian Design Group

The beginning of the new year marked the start of different participations for Stenik.

Invitation to participate in event #92

The guest at the 92nd event of BDG (Bulgarian Design Group) and the first for 2022 was Stefan Chorbanov - co-founder of Stenik and Certified Magento 2 Solution Specialist. The invitation came from Margarit Ralev himself - the founder of BDG.

BDG (Bulgarian Design Group)

BDG represents the community of designers in Bulgaria. Among its goals and tasks are the development of Bulgarian design and the unification of professionals from various related fields.

The Bulgarian Design Group was launched as an online community in 2007 and was officially established as a foundation in 2013. Currently, BDG organizes regular monthly events (every 11th day of each month) with guest speakers from different business areas. The common thread among all of them is the design, which finds its place in their activities in one form or another.

When and where?

Stefan Chorbanov's participation in event #92 of BDG successfully kicked off the new year. The two-hour conversation between him and Margarit Ralev took place on January 11th at 19:30 in the Launchee hall, TSUM, Sofia. Of course, in addition to the live event, the conversation was also accessible online on the Launchee website and in the BDG Facebook group.

  • What are the best practices when drawing inspiration from other ecommerce websites?
  • Useful UX practices for eCommerce - from the homepage to the checkout.
  • How does Stenik improve UX during the continuous growth of a particular online store?
  • What part of mobile traffic is in Bulgarian ecommerce, and how important are the desktop versions of the stores?
  • What other investments are needed for an online business besides the development of the online store itself? What internal team is necessary?
  • How important is it for business owners to delve into the details of online commerce when embracing an eCommerce-first trading model?
  • Is there room for A/B testing and personalization among local online retailers?
  • Interesting stories and facts about real projects from Stenik's portfolio.
  • Curious facts from Stefan Chorbanov's biography and the creation and development of Stenik with his partners Nikolay Dimitrov and Dimitar Dimitrov.

... and many other important moments and details from the kitchen of Stenik.
